Hi there! You've stumbled onto the patchwork quilt I call my life. Want to learn more about me and what I'm up to? You're in the right place.
My ghostwriting led to me down several somewhat unusual paths, one of which has been writing municipal minutes. I currently write for about a dozen boards and cities, mostly in the Sunshine State.
Looking for a minutes writer? I'd love to tell you more about Prototype, Inc.
I am working on an essay collection "behind the scenes" that I can barely wait to share with you, but in the meantime ... check out this essay I wrote about a non-traditional childhood mentor (who may or may not have been a sex worker).

After more than 10 years of travel blogging, COVID-19 and the loss of our son have led to taking a step back.
The travel blog Well Worn Suitcase is currently unpublished, but I maintain our Instagram account, and we are selectively open to partnerships with destinations and products, so reach out if you'd like to chat about one.
I write book-length and shorter non-fiction for those who know they have something to say, but need help getting their words out into the world. My experience includes biographical works, business and self-help books, and a long list of blog projects.
If you identify with this and would like to chat, let's talk about your project and see if we are a good fit.
I occasionally submit flash fiction and short stories to publications. I've been on a bit of a hiatus since the loss of my son, but when I come back to it, I will share the latest links to my writing here.
Is there a novel in the near future? Perhaps. Watch this space and I promise you'll be among the first to know!
I am an avid reader but have a terrible memory for names and titles, so I keep a journal of what I've been diving into. If you're interested, you can find it here. I'm also on Goodreads if that's your jam.
We lost our amazing son, Cameron, on March 25, 2022, at the age of 24. As a family, we started a travel scholarship in his memory. Learn more about the scholarship or donate here.
Where does this fit? Who knows.
My great-grandmother taught me to crochet when I was eight, and in recent years I have found it to be therapeutic as well as a creative outlet. I share some of my projects on my blog.
